Online Bingo Chat Etiquette

Remember that online bingo is about having fun, and nothing the other player's do will affect whether you win or lose, so there is no reason for hostility with the other players.

Foul or abusive language is not tolerated in online bingo chat and if you are tempted to use it for this purpose, you are better off just turning chat off altogether. Also avoid using all caps in the chat box, it is perceived as "shouting" and considered rude by most. So before you start playing take a minute and read through Bingolisting's etiquette guidelines for bingo chat rooms. These are general chat guidelines, applied by most bingo rooms and users who don't follow the bingo rooms' chat rules can be banned from the site.

Don't make sexual or racial/ethnical remarks in the chat.
Don't act impolite towards other players or the host.
Don't promote other sites in the chat.
Don't use offensive language of any kind.
Don't type in CAPS unless you are requested to do so by the chat host.
Don't post offensive remarks of other players in the chat room.
Don't file complaints about other players in the chat room. E-mail the support team instead.
Don't chose an inappropriate user name

Remember that the host/chat supervisor has the authority to make the final decisions in any disagreements in the chat room. Chat policies may vary from site to site, so make sure that you know the specific rules where you choose to play.

You shouldn't feel intimidated by all the "Don'ts" above. As long as you abide by common courtesy, your first bingo chat experience will unquestionably be a very pleasant one.
